After a hectic summer transfer window, where £3bn was spent in the Premier League, several clubs have boosted the overall values of their squads.
While high squad value doesn't always equal guaranteed success, there is often a correlation between the teams with the highest squad values and where they finish in the league table.
With the transfer window shut, we've analysed the squad values of every Premier League club.

Premier League squad values analysed
Arsenal are top of the tree
After accumulating a higher net spend than any other Premier League club this summer, Arsenal's squad is now valued higher than any other side in the division. The Gunners have leapfrogged Manchester City into first position on this table and will now hope that their expensive squad can leapfrog Liverpool in the Premier League table.
Liverpool's squad isn't worth £1bn
Despite Liverpool spending close to £500m on transfers this summer, their squad still isn't valued at the £1bn mark. The club broke the British transfer record twice this summer, first on Florian Wirtz and then on Alexander Isak. If both men can perform to their potential this season, then their squad valuation could very quickly look a little silly.
Man Utd and Tottenham remain in the top six
Despite Man Utd and Tottenham both finishing 15th and 17th respectively last season, both clubs still have squads that are valued inside the top six in the Premier League. The average value of their squads illustrates just how badly they both performed last season, but they are both expected to perform better this time around.
Newcastle lose value
Newcastle are one of a few clubs whose squad values have decreased over the summer. The Magpies spent more than £200m on new players, but the sale of Alexander Isak to Liverpool saw their overall value drop. Eddie Howe will be hoping that new striker, Nick Woltemade, can hit the ground running and justify his price tag.
The newly promoted teams are ranked in the bottom three
Burnley, Leeds, and Sunderland are all said to have the lowest-valued squads in the Premier League, illustrating how big the jump in quality is from the Championship to the top flight. All three clubs have spent their fair share of money this summer, too, particularly Sunderland, but based on squad value alone, they remain the three favourites to be relegated this season.
