Premier League handicap betting tips: United and City Look to Rack up the Goals

Football Whispers is back with all the Premier League handicap betting tips as approach a vital time in the calendar of English football.

Premier League correct score betting

Bournemouth vs Manchester City – City (-2.0)

Another victory for Manchester City against Brentford in midweek and a clash with Bournemouth this weekend while Liverpool play in the EFL Cup means the champions could be within one point of the Reds in first place come the end of the weekend. City narrowly beat Brentford by a 1-0 scoreline, as Erling Haaland scored once more, which now means he has netted against every Premier League team he has faced.

Bournemouth are also heading into this one way off the mark after putting together a sensational run of form throughout November and December. The Cherries have now not won in the past six Premier League games since beating Fulham on Boxing Day, while City have only dropped points to Chelsea in this period and put one leg in the Champions League quarter-finals and are in the fifth round of the FA Cup too.

Haaland has also scored three goals in the three Premier League games since he returned to action, and with him firing once more, it could be a long day for Bournemouth. Odds for City to win against a -2 handicap sit at 5/2 (3.5).

Manchester United vs Fulham – United (-2.0)

Manchester United's excellent form in 2024 continued last time out with a 2-1 win away to Luton Town that saw Rasmus Hojlund score twice inside the first 10 minutes. The Red Devils have now managed to go all of 2024 unbeaten and win their past four Premier League games too, beating Wolves, West Ham, Aston Villa and Luton to move to within five points of fourth place.

United also don't have any European football to focus on anymore, and this extra time off seems to be serving them well. During this run where Erik ten Hag's men only seem to be getting better, Fulham have struggled once again. They have only managed to beat Rotherham United in the FA Cup third round and Bournemouth back in the league in 2024, and they were even knocked out of the FA Cup fourth round by Newcastle United three weeks ago.

Odds for United to get a win against a -2.0 handicap come in at 4/1 (5.0).

Brighton vs Everton – Brighton (-1.0)

Brighton returned to the win column in style last time out with a 5-0 thrashing over Sheffield United at Bramall Lane. The Seagulls also scored five at Bramall Lane back in late January in an FA Cup tie, and by also beating Crystal Palace 4-1, it means Brighton have scored 15 goals in the past five games this month.

At the same time, Everton's woes continue with theme extending their winless run to eight games in the Premier League since a win over Burnley in mid-December. They've managed to lose against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, Wolves, City again, and draw with Spurs, Fulham, Villa and Palace on Monday.

Brighton are the clear favourites to win, and for them to get the job done against a -1.0 handicap are at 9/3 (3.25)
