Panama vs. England squad comparison: Market values and most expensive players

Panama and England clash in their final World Cup 2026 Group L match on Saturday night, with the former already eliminated and the latter aiming to qualify for the knockouts in first place.

The Canal Men lost their opening two games 1-0 to Ghana and Croatia respectively, while the Three Lions followed up a 4-2 win against Croatia with a 0-0 draw against Ghana.

Panama are now playing for pride, and the chance to earn a first-ever point at a World Cup finals, while victory for England would almost guarantee them to finish top of the group, depending on Ghana's result against Croatia.

Incidentally, these teams meat in their only previous H2H at the World Cup in 2018, where England were resounding 6-1 winners.

It is interesting to see how the squads have changed since then, as we compare the most and least valuable squad players from each team below.
