Norwich will take on Swansea on Saturday, 27 April in what could turn out to be the Canaries final home game of the season if things don't go well over the next ten days. The home side realistically just need one win from their final two games to secure a place in the playoffs but with an away match against a desperate Birmingham to look forward to next week, they will want to get the job done this weekend. Ahead of their match with Swansea, here is our Norwich vs Swansea prediction.

Looking at the Norwich vs Swansea odds, it would be a huge surprise if the Canaries didn't take home all three points on Saturday afternoon. The odds are fair as Norwich's home record all season has been imperious – only the top three have secured more points on home soil in the Championship.

Norwich are also in decent enough form. They are unbeaten across their last four matches and they have won five of their last eight so Swansea would have to produce something quite special to steal all three points from Carrow Road.

One thing that could work in Swansea's favour is freedom. Since securing their Championship status, the shackles have come off and they have recorded three consecutive victories. They also have a decent away record this season and are inside the top ten in terms of points won on the road. Despite that, the home crowd and player quality should see the home side win.

Last five H2Hs: Norwich prepare to face their bogey team

Swansea have a good record against Norwich in recent times despite the Canaries frequently coming into matches against them as the favourites. They beat them earlier this season on home turf while they won this exact fixture last season 3-0.

Player to watch: Gabriel Sara

gabriel sara

Gabriel Sara is arguably the only player in the current Norwich City team who you could confidently say could cut it in the Premier League. The Brazilian attacking midfielder has hit double digits for both goals and assists this season and will be keen to show he can produce the goods when it matters most.

A man in need of support

Sara's teammates have blown hot and cold on him all season but the Brazilian needs them on top of their game over the next month. He can't get the Canaries promoted on his own.
