Los Angeles FC vs Flamengo prediction: Another loss for the hosts
Key stats
- Flamengo have kept a clean sheet in four of their last five matches in all competitions.
- LAFC have lost both of their games at the Club World Cup, without scoring a goal.
- Flamengo are on a six-game winning streak and undefeated in their last 10 matches in a row.
Correct score prediction: Los Angeles FC 0-2 Flamengo
Despite playing this tournament in their country, Los Angeles FC weren't able to capitalise on that. They also entered the Club World Cup in good form, on a streak of 10 games without a loss, but things haven't gone their way at CWC so far.
With a couple of losses, they have already been eliminated, while Flamengo have won both of their matches and a point would secure them top spot, regardless of other results.
All things considered, we can't see LAFC avoiding another loss against a red-hot opponent like Flamengo.

Most recent H2Hs: No previous meetings
This will be the first time for LAFC and Flamengo to meet, as well as the first meeting with a Brazilian club for Los Angeles FC. Meanwhile, Flamengo have played against teams from the USA a couple of times before, notching one win and one draw.
Los Angeles FC preview: Hoping to say goodbye with a good game
After failing to score a goal in the first two matches in the group, both of which they've lost, Los Angeles FC have already packed their bags for the return flight back to California. That being said, they will give their best to end the competition with a good performance and result, but against the current group leaders Flamengo they won't have an easy task.
Meanwhile, Lorenzo Dellavalle and Cengiz Under remain out with injuries, while Nathan Ordaz is listed as questionable.
Predicted lineup: Lloris (GK), Palencia, Long, Segura, Hollingshead, Delgado, Igor, Tillman, Martinez, Giroud & Bouanga

Flamengo preview: Looking to confirm top spot in the group
With a couple of wins over Chelsea and ES Tunis, Flamengo only need one more point to secure first place in their group at the Club World Cup, although they will likely finish at the top even with a loss, based on goal difference. All in all, Flamengo have shown so far that they are in great form and a team that's rightfully considered to be a dark horse to win it all.
Nicolas de la Cruz is questionable for this match and given Flamengo are in a good spot, he will likely sit this one out.

Player to watch: Luiz Araujo
The 29-year-old forward has been given a chance to play more than usual during the Club World Cup and he proved that it was deserved by contributing to Flamengo's success with one goal and one assist in the first two games.
With that in mind, keep an eye on Araujo against Los Angeles FC as well.
