The Reds hoped to repeat this feat with Marc Guehi but Crystal Palace ultimately scuppered this transfer. A hard finding to digest, both for the centre-back and for the English club.
Nevertheless, this does not stop Liverpool, who are determined to recruit the 25-year-old player, whether this winter or next summer, when he will be free. The competition will however be tough because several heavyweights are also interested in Marc Guehi's services, notably Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
