Leeds will take on Burnley in the Championship this weekend in one of the first titanic clashes of the new season.
Both teams are expected to compete for promotion this season and currently sit inside the top six after solid enough starts to the new season but a win here for either side would give them huge belief ahead of the rest of the campaign.
As part of our latest round of Championship betting tips, here is our Leeds vs Burnley prediction.

Leeds vs Burnley prediction: The hosts to extend their unbeaten streak
Key Stats
- Leeds have won their last two Championship matches.

- Fewer than three goals have been scored in each of Leeds' last three matches.
- Fewer than three goals have been scored in each of Burnley's last three matches.
Correct score prediction: Leeds 2-0 Burnley
Although these two teams are considered among the best in the Championship, neither have been among the goals in recent weeks. Leeds have been very solid at the back, however, which bodes well ahead of this. They have won their last two matches by a scoreline of 2-0 and given they are playing in front of their home fans on Saturday, we anticipate them making it three in a row.

Most recent H2Hs: Advantage Leeds
Although these two teams have been at similar levels for the past five years or so, this is a fixture that Leeds have dominated. The Whites are unbeaten across their last five matches with Burnley, recording three wins and two draws and this will only add to their confidence levels ahead of kick-off on Saturday.
Burnley's last victory over Leeds came in April 2016 in a match played at Turf Moor while their last win at Elland Road was all the way back in 2013.

Leeds preview: The pressure is already on
There were some people who wanted Daniel Farke replacing as manager after failing to win the playoff last season but the German has kept his job and has started the season well enough. It still feels as if he is just a couple of bad results away from the pressure being cranked up so winning big matches like this one feel doubly important.
Predicted lineup: Meslier (GK), Bogle, Struijk, Rodon, Firpo, Ramazani, Ampadu, Gruev, Gnonto, Solomon, Joseph.

Player to watch: Manor Solomon
Manor Solomon made his Leeds debut in the final game before the international break and the Spurs loanee looked sharp. Solomon grabbed himself an assist in Leeds' victory over Hull City and will now be looking to kick on as the Whites look to climb the league table. With Solomon, they have a player of real talent.
