We have analysed the Lazio first goalscorer odds vs Udinese as they face off in Serie A on Monday night. The hosts are in ninth place at the time of writing, and after being knocked out of the UEFA Champions League by Bayern Munich in midweek, will concentrate on trying to finish in the European places for next season.
However, Lazio have lost their last three league matches, so confidence is low going into Monday. Udinese are not on much better form though, with just two points in their last three league games, and sitting in 15th, Lazio should be looking at this clash as an opportunity to get themselves back on track.
Lazio first goalscorer odds vs Udinese: Our picks
Ciro Immobile – 9/2
Immobile is no doubt Lazio's talisman, and is unsurprisingly favourite to open the scoring here. He is their top scorer with 10 goals in all competitions this season, and amazingly, seven of those have been as first goalscorer – including his opening six!
Immobile also has 12 goals in 16 appearances against Udinese, and so we would not back against him to get on the scoresheet again.
Mattia Zaccagni – 9/1
Zaccagni is Lazio's joint-second top scorer with four goals this term, and is likely to be given another chance from the start by Sarri after starting against Bayern. Incidentally, he has never scored against Udinese in 10 previous appearances, but will want to change that on home turf.
Zaccagni has been first goalscorer twice already this season, including his last goal against Roma in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals in January.
Felipe Anderson – 10/1
Anderson only has three goals to his name this season, but Maurizio Sarri still trusts him to start most games, including against Bayern at the Allianz Arena. He has also netted twice in 14 appearances against Udinese, so is familiar with Monday's opponents.
Two of Anderson's three strikes this campaign have also been as first goalscorer, so we could see a repeat here.
Luis Alberto – 12/1
Alberto is the chief creator of the Lazio team, but he can also pop up with a goal, as shown by his four strikes this term. Two of those have come as first goalscorer, including in Lazio's 2-1 defeat at Fiorentina in Serie A just under two weeks ago.
Alberto has also scored twice in 11 previous appearances against Udinese, and so the visitors will be very aware of his qualities.
Matias Vecino – 12/1
Vecino usually anchors Lazio's midfield alongside Alberto, but he too has contributed a handy four goals this season. Only one of these has come as first goalscorer though, but the current odds given by betting markets for him to do so against Udinese are quite generous in our eyes.
Vecino has also netted twice in 13 appearances against Monday's opponents, and could be a nice outsider bet if you are looking to against the grain.
