Inter Milan are reportedly ready to make an offer for Bernardo Silva to prize the Portuguese playmaker away from Manchester City.

According to a report in the Italian publication, Tutto Mercato Web, Inter Milan are very interested in the former Monaco man and are lining up a huge contract offer for the player.

The 31-year-old's current contract at the Etihad Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season, which means he can arrange a pre-contract agreement with another European club as early as January.

Barcelona have long been tipped as Bernardo's most likely destination should he walk away from Pep Guardiola and Manchester City, but Inter Milan are said to be serious about trying to entice him to Serie A.

Three of the ‘big six' are in for Dayot Upamecano

Another big European name who could be on the move for free next summer is Dayot Upamecano, with the Frenchman's contract with Bayern Munich set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

Upamecano has long been regarded as one of the finest central defenders in the game, and at the age of 27, the time could be right for him to finally make a long-awaited move to the Premier League.

According to a report from TBRFootball, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester City have all held internal talks in recent weeks about making a move to sign the defender in the summer, should he fail to agree terms on a new Bayern Munich deal.

Out of the three clubs listed, a move to Liverpool would make the most sense. Ibrahima Konate is expected to move to Real Madrid next summer, and Virgil van Dijk isn't getting any younger.

A Mason Greenwood Premier League return is on, with West Ham interested

Arguably the biggest transfer rumour today is that Mason Greenwood could be on his way back to the Premier League, just two years after he departed Manchester United on a permanent deal to join Marseille.

Greenwood's time at United was cut short after a graphic tape, which allegedly featured Greenwood and his girlfriend, was leaked online. In light of the leak, Man Utd immediately suspended the player pending a criminal investigation.

Although the charges against Greenwood were ultimately dropped, he would never play for United again, and after a loan spell with Getafe, he was sold to Marseille in the summer of 2023.

According to a report in Team Talk, both West Ham and Tottenham are interested in bringing the player back to the Premier League after a season and a half of impressive performances in Ligue 1.

Both clubs will be aware of the scrutiny that such a move would bring, and while a return to England still feels impossible for the player, desperate times do often result in desperate measures.
