PSG handed Enzo Fernandez transfer boost after Chelsea defeat

After knocking Chelsea out of the Champions League with a stunning 8-2 win on aggregate, Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Enzo Fernandez.
The Blues skipper cast doubt over his long-term future at Stamford Bridge after the game, potentially opening the door to joining the Parasiens in the summer.
He won't come cheap, however, with reports suggesting that Chelsea would command in excess of the £106 million they paid for him in 2023.
PSG's recruitment team have identified Fernandez as a long-term target for a while now, so with the Premier League side out of sorts and the player himself doubtful over his future, they could be in the driving seat to sign him this summer.
Man Utd make contact over potential Mika Godts deal

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Manchester United have “officially made contact” with Ajax to explore a potential move for forward Mika Godts, who can play on the wing and through the middle.
He also claims that the Belgian youngster is going to be in demand and he is expected to leave the Dutch giants during the upcoming summer window.
The 20-year-old has now established himself at the Johan Cruyff Arena, registering as many as 23 goal contributions across 25 Eredivisie appearances this season.
Such form has led to exciting comparisons to former Chelsea and Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard, so it's no wonder that United are keen to get ahead of the queue in the race to sign him this summer.
Liverpool to step up interest in Wolves midfielder Joao Gomes

Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to step up their interest in Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Joao Gomes, according to TEAMtalk.
The 25-year-old is emerging as a key target for several top-flight teams, including Man Utd, though the Brazilian has already made his dream destination clear.
“Liverpool is a team I would play for. I have a great desire to play there,” he once revealed back in 2022, which surely makes the Reds the leading candidate to sign him.
It remains to be seen how much Gomes would command, especially with Wolves involved in the relegation dogfight right now, with some reports suggesting he could be available for around £45 millon.
