Tottenham Hotspur are facing turmoil on and off the pitch, and the news isn't getting any better.

According to reports, star defender Micky van de Ven has cast doubt over his future at the north Londoners, with talks over a new deal on pause until the summer.

While already under contract until 2029, the Netherlands international is concerned by Spurs' situation and is keen to join a more competitive club, with LaLiga giants Real Madrid among those keeping tabs.

They are set to lose key central defensive options like David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger, so could make a move for Van de Ven, who is valued in the region of £100 million.

Meanwhile, over in Manchester, it's believed that the Red Devils are lining up a move for a Nottingham Forest midfielder – and it isn't Elliot Anderson this time.

Man Utd are thought to be impressed by the performances of the Englishman's engine room partner, Ibrahim Sangare, as they assess potential replacements for the outgoing Casemiro.

Per GIVEMESPORT, the 28-year-old is on United's midfield transfer shortlist – which also includes the aforementioned Anderson as well as Brighton's Carlos Baleba – ahead of the summer window.

It remains to be seen whether the Tricky Trees would sell the Ivory Coast international and for how much, considering they signed him for around £30 million two-and-a-half years ago.

Reports in Spain have sensationally claimed that Liverpool could consider a swap deal with Real Madrid, which would see versatile winger Rodrygo head to Anfield in exchange for the coveted Dominik Szoboszlai.

A lot has been said about Los Galacticos' interest in the Hungary international and how the 25-year-old midfielder views a switch to the Bernabeu as something of a ‘dream'.

It's thought that the Reds have long held an interest in Rodrygo and could view him as a potential successor to Mohamed Salah, whose own future in Merseyside remains up in the air.

The Brazilian is capable of playing on both flanks, which is the sort of flexibility that will appeal to manager Arne Slot.
