Read the latest transfer news today as several Premier League players could make their moves before deadline day.

With less than one week remaining of the summer transfer window, things are beginning to heat up as several Premier League clubs are still looking to do some serious business.

Manchester United, for instance, have done a lot of recruitment work and splashed a lot of money on new additions. Their focus for the rest of the window turns to departures, with one youngster said to be heading for the exit door.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace believe they have found the perfect replacement for Eberechi Eze, with the club in advanced talks with a top LaLiga outfit over a blockbuster deal.

Here are the biggest transfer headlines today…

Five Premier League clubs are set to be in the running for Man Utd academy product and England international, Kobbie Mainoo.

The 20-year-old was one of the very few shining lights for the Red Devils last season, but that has not translated into the new campaign, with the youngster being an unused substitute in the opening two games against Arsenal and Fulham.

United boss Ruben Amorim is unlikely to start Mainoo ahead of club captain Bruno Fernandes, leaving the English midfielder without too many options.

According to journalist Graeme Bailey, Mainoo is unhappy with his lack of playing time. Chelsea and Tottenham are the favourites to make a late move for the midfielder, though Brentford, Brighton and Fulham are also keeping a close eye on the situation.

Following a shocking start to the Premier League season, West Ham have gone back into the transfer market in search of midfield reinforcements.

The Irons are believed to have made an approach for Nottingham Forest’s Ibrahim Sangare, with the club looking to secure an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy if terms are met.

The 27-year-old arrived in the Premier League from PSV Eindhoven and made 32 Premier League appearances since joining Forest in the summer of 2023.

West Ham are also looking to complete the deal for Monaco midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, with reports suggesting that a fee has been agreed.

According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Crystal Palace are reportedly in ‘advanced talks' to sign Yeremy Pino from LaLiga side Villarreal.

The Eagles have stepped up their efforts in the transfer market after losing Eberechi Eze to Arsenal in a near £70m transfer last week.

Palace have outlined Pino as a solid replacement, with the 22-year-old already boasting a lot of experience at his young age.

The Spaniard has made over 130 senior appearances for Villarreal across all competitions and helped them to the 2020/21 Europa League crown. What’s more, he has also earned 15 international caps with Spain, helping them to three UEFA Nations League finals, winning one of them.
