Man Utd to battle City over £35m target

Man United’s pursuit of Bournemouth’s star forward Antoine Semenyo has just got a lot more difficult after rivals Man City decided to join the race for his signature, according to a report by TBR Football.
United already tried to lure the player to Old Trafford last summer, though the Red Devils were unable to make a convincing case, as Semenyo opted to sign a new deal with the Cherries.
The 25-year-old enjoyed an exceptional season last term, scoring 11 goals and producing six assists. Semenyo has since stepped up his game, already making six goal contributions in six Premier League games this season.
While the Ghana international is tied to the Vitality Stadium until 2030, Man City are hoping to use the charm of Champions League football in order to attract the player to the Etihad Stadium – something United cannot offer at the moment.
Liverpool identify Mo Salah replacement

According to German media outlet SportBild, Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Bayern Munich’s star forward Michael Olise, with the Reds identifying the player as a potential future replacement for Mo Salah.
The report suggests that Arne Slot’s Liverpool would be ‘very happy’ to splash in the region of £90m for the player, who is also being tracked by Premier League rivals Chelsea and Man City.
The Reds have already spent serious money, most notably throwing over £100m on the signing of former Bundesliga star Florian Wirtz – a signing which has been criticised in recent weeks following the German midfielder’s slow start to life at Anfield.
Olise arrived at Bayern Munich following a £50m move from Crystal Palace back in the summer of 2024. He has since scored 25 goals in 64 appearances for the club, winning a Bundesliga title along the way.
West Ham plot £40m raid for Turkish star

Spanish news outlet Fichajes believe that West Ham are looking to sign highly-rated Galatasaray star Baris Yilmaz following a series of impressive performances.
The 25-year-old scored 14 goals and provided six assists across all competitions last season, and he has already made seven goal contributions in seven matches since the start of the new campaign.
While Yilmaz is considered a key player for Galatasaray, the opportunity to play Premier League football could be too good to turn down for the Turkish international.
Following a slow start to the season, West Ham are determined to sign a dynamic attacking player, and the club are willing to splash upwards of £35m in order to bring him to the London Stadium.
