Liverpool eye move for Bayern Munich star Michael Olise

Liverpool are weighing up a move for Michael Olise next summer, with the Reds keen to try and secure a deal for a long-term Mohamed Salah replacement, according to reports.
Olise would reportedly come at a price of around £87m, but with Salah's contract set to expire in 2027, Liverpool are keen to ensure they aren't left in a situation where they are without an elite option on the right wing.
The Frenchman only signed for the club last summer from Crystal Palace, in a deal worth £52m. He excelled during his first campaign with the club, breaking the 20-goal barrier for the first time in his career.
If Olise does end up moving to Anfield, then there is every chance that he could link up with former Palace teammate Marc Guehi, who will be on the Reds' radar again next summer.
Aston Villa target Lucas Paqueta drops hint over West Ham future

Online transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has gone on record to say that he ‘guarantees' that Lucas Paqueta would currently be an Aston Villa player if social media didn't exist.
In an interview, Romano stated that the move collapsed as West Ham became annoyed about the leaks to the media about the move, so they pulled the plug after the two clubs had agreed on a fee.
Paqueta is now set to see the season out at West Ham, but based on his own social media activity, a move could be on the cards again next summer. In a lengthy Instagram post, the Brazilian dropped a major hint as he signed off by saying, “Let's go together for one more season!”
West Ham fans have understandably taken this as Paqueta saying that he will play for the Hammers for one more year before moving on ahead of the 2026/27 season, so watch this space.
Arsenal set to offer William Saliba a new contract

According to reports in France, Arsenal are keen to tie William Saliba down to a new contract to try and keep Real Madrid at bay in the coming years.
RMC Sport has stated that Arsenal have already offered Saliba a five-year contract extension amid growing interest from Real Madrid, who are in the market for defenders.
Saliba currently has two years left on his contract, but Real Madrid's new transfer policy of arranging free transfers with players may well have spooked Arsenal. If they can't agree on a new deal with the defender by next summer, then serious conversations may need to be had about whether to sell him or not.
For the time being, Real Madrid are focusing their energy on securing Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool. If both men end up in the Spanish capital, then Los Blancos could have two French centre-backs at the heart of their defence for many years to come.
