Unsurprisingly, the Watford vs Hull odds have the away side priced as the favourites, however, they aren't a long way in front of Watford despite their poor form in front of their home fans this season. The Hornets have turned a positive corner since Cleverley took over in the middle of March in the sense that they are now difficult to beat, however, they still need to secure more wins.

Watford have become draw specialists since Cleverley came in with four of their last five matches finishing all square. A draw here would be better for them than their opponents, Hull, who still have an outside chance of finishing inside the top six.

They are currently six points behind Norwich with a game in hand but there is an acceptance that they'll have to get 12 points from 12 to have any chance.

Liam Rosenior's men have picked up some form in recent weeks and have picked up seven points in their last three matches. They're one of the best away teams in the league (fourth-highest average points per game on the road) and are well-placed to win this one.

Watford preview: Cleverley searches for first home win

Cleverley was left fuming after his side conceded a late winner and although his anger was aimed at the match officials, he won't have been pleased about his team conceding three goals. Changes are expected as a result of that, but he won't be able to call on Baah, Ngakia and Sema due to injury.

Hull preview: Looking for perfection

Hull need to be perfect from here on out if they are to reach the playoffs and so Rosenior would be foolish to change a winning team after last weekend's triumph over QPR. Rosenior has no injuries to contend with for this one.

Player to watch: Jaden Philogene

At this point of the season, all any team wants is one player to stand up and get them over the line and Jaden Philogene looks like he could be that man for Hull City.

Carrying momentum into each game

Philogene has scored in each of Hull's last three matches, the first time anyone has done that for the Tigers this season. They have missed a regular goalscorer all season but Philogene is now showing he can be that man.
