Falkirk haven't been able to hold their own in the Championship Group, losing three of their four games so far, which is still better than how Rangers have done since the split.
That being said, Falkirk's fans can be extremely pleased with their season. After all, Falkirk have started the season as one of the relegation candidates as a newly-promoted team, so finishing in the top half of the standings is certainly a respectable achievement.
On top of that, Falkirk have reached the semi-final of the Scottish FA Cup, which is another great result. However, their fans have a reason to be slightly disappointed by this loss in the semis since Falkirk's opponent was Dunfermline, a team that plays in the Championship.
All in all, despite the recent struggles, it has been a good season for Falkirk and they'll hope to close it with a big win over Rangers in front of their passionate supporters.
Leon McCann, Louie Marsh, Filip Lissah, Ethan Williams, Scott Bain, and Barney Stewart are on Falkirk's injury list ahead of this game.
Meanwhile, Rangers enter this match as the only team without any points in the Championship Group. A couple of weeks ago, Rangers were in the title race, but four losses in a row have cemented them in third place in the standings.
It has been a truly disappointing end to the season, enhanced even further by turmoil within the club, culminating in the standoff between the team's manager Danny Rohl and the team's long-serving captain James Tavernier.
Tavernier wasn't offered a new contract and he decided to leave the club in the summer, but he expected to play against Falkirk. However, after Rohl informed him that he would be on the bench for the game, Tavernier refused to suit up at all.
So, Rangers will be without Tavernier against Falkirk, along with Bailey Rice, who is out with an injury.

Whispers predicts: Falkirk 1-1 Rangers
With both teams struggling lately and without a real strong motive, we can't see a lot of excitement in this match. This is the reason why we feel a draw would suit both sides and why backing Falkirk on a double chance at even odds sounds reasonable.
Along the same lines, we can see the first half ending in a draw at 7/5 odds, with both teams just waiting for the season to finally end.
Our final prediction is under 2.5 total goals at 13/10 odds, which is a bit counterintuitive for the Scottish Premiership. However, the recent H2H history between these teams (two of their last three meetings have gone under 2.5 total goals) suggests that we might be in for a low-scoring game.
Double chance: Falkirk or draw at 1/1 | Likelihood: Probable
Half-time draw at 7/5 | Likelihood: Possible
Under 2.5 total goals at 13/10 | Likelihood: Possible
Correct score: 1-1 at 7/1 | Likelihood: Outsider
