As we enter the Europa Conference League round of 16 this week, the final in Athens in May is just about in sight. All 16 teams remaining in the competition have played well to get to this stage and they will all believe they have a chance of winning the competition.

Aston Villa – 5/6
Aston Villa are currently the favourites to win the Europa Conference League this season and they have been so heavily backed that they are odds on to reach the final. The Villains have been excellent in both the Premier League and Conference League this season so they are well worthy of their tag as favourites.
It also helps that they have Unai Emery in the dugout. The Spaniard has fantastic pedigree in Europa having won the Europa League three times as Sevilla boss and his wealth of experience should make up for the fact Aston Villa aren't European regulars.
Villa are set to face Ajax in the round of 16 in a potentially tricky tie. Although Ajax are having their worst season in a long time, they still have an incredible European pedigree and won't be easy to overcome, particularly at the Amsterdam Arena.
Fiorentina – 7/4
Fiorentina are the second favourites to make it to the Europa Conference League final with the Italian side looking to go one step further than they managed last season. Fiorentina lost out to West Ham in the 2023 final with Jarrod Bowen scoring in the dying minutes of the game and the pain caused by that defeat is spurring them on this time around.
Vincenzo Italiano is doing a good job with Fiorentina and has them in the hunt for Champions League football next season. They have been drawn to face Maccabi Haifa in the round of 16 with the general consensus being that if they can come away from the first leg in Israel with at least a draw then they should have too much for them on home soil.
Lille – 12/5
French side, Lille, are potentially dark horses in the Europa Conference League this season and are priced at 12/5 to make the final in Greece. Former Roma manager, Paulo Fonseca, is doing a good job with Lille and they are currently 4th in Ligue 1 and are still unbeaten in this season's Europa Conference League.
Lille have been given one of the most favourable round of 16 draws and are set to face Swiss side, Sturm Graz, who dropped down from the Europa League after winning just one group match. Lille are heavy favourites to come through that tie which only enhances their chances of going all the way.
Fenerbahce – 15/4
Fenerbahce have a great chance of becoming the first team from Turkey to win a UEFA competition since Galatasaray won the UEFA Cup and Super Cup in 2000. They are doing brilliantly in the Turkish Superliga and trial Galatasaray by just two points at the top of the table.
In the Europa Conference League, they managed to come out of Group H as winners thanks to three consecutive victories to finish off the group, proving they can perform under pressure when they need to. Fenerbache are set to face Royale Union Saint-Gilloise in the round of 16 and that will be a real test as they are currently leading the way in the Belgian top flight. If Fenerbahce can come through that, then they should be considered as very serious candidates for winning this season's competition.
