Spain vs Czech Republic: Free Predictions

Spain didn't have the best start to the Nations League this season, drawing their opening two matches, but a win against Switzerland last time out means that Luis Enrique's men remain unbeaten ahead of their home game against the Czech Republic.  The visitors slipped behind Spain in the Group 2 table following a defeat to Portugal and will be looking to avoid defeat in Malaga this Sunday.

Spain & Under 2.5 Goals

Spain have won four of their last five encounters with the Czech Republic and under 2.5 goals have been scored in four of the pair's six previous meetings in all competitions. The hosts are unbeaten in their last six international matches and under 2.5 goals have been produced in three of those games. Under 2.5 goals have been produced in four of the Czech Republic's last six outings and the visitors have lost two of their last three away games.

Both Teams to Score – No

We're not expecting both teams to score in this game and believe that Spain will keep a clean sheet as they have done in four of their previous six meetings with the Czech Republic. Spain have kept clean sheets in three of their last six matches across all competitions, including their midweek win over the Swiss. The Czech Republic have failed to score in two of their last three away games and that includes the 2-0 defeat to Portugal on Thursday night.

Spain looking to maintain unbeaten start to Group 2

Spain went in search of their first win of this season's Nations League on Thursday night against a Switzerland side that had already lost their opening two fixtures. A goal early in the first half from Sarabia proved enough for the Spanish to claim a 1-0 victory and move up into second place in the group.

Spain Predicted Lineup: Simón, Azpilicueta, Alba, Llorente, Torres, Busquets, Sarabia, Llorente, Gavi, Morata & Torres

The Czech Republic weren't expected to pick up any points away at Portugal, and that is just how the game panned out. Cancelo put the hosts in front in the 33rd-minute and Guedes made it 2-0 5-minutes later, ending any faint hopes of a Czech Republic comeback.

Czech Republic Predicted Lineup: Staněk, Brabec, Coufal, Matějů, Havel, Zima, Souček, Lingr, Sadílek, Kuchta & Hložek

Team News

Spain: David de Gea, Aymeric Laporte, Raúl Albiol, Thiago Alcântara, Pedri, Rodrigo, Mikel Oyarzabal and Gerard Moreno have not made the squad.

Czech Republic: Michael Krmenčík, Matěj Vydra, Patrik Schick, Alex Král, Antonín Barák, Tomáš Kalas and Filip Novák miss out for the visitors.
