Crystal Palace vs. Lech Poznan: What's the story?

Never before have Crystal Palace and Lech Poznan done battle in a competitive setting, but the Eagles arrive as reigning Conference League champions after beating Rayo Vallecano 1-0 in May's final.

Trophy-winning boss Oliver Glasner has since left for Nottingham Forest, with Sage taking over after guiding Lens to the Coupe de France and a runner-ups Ligue 1 finish.
