Champions League top scorer 2023/24 odds update: Four stars tied at the top

The Champions League top scorer 2023/24 odds have shifted slightly since our last update, as the UEFA Champions League (UCL) quarter-final draw showed each team's potential route to the final.

Among the tastiest ties are Arsenal v Bayern Munich, with Bayern the last team to knock the Gunners out of the UCL knockout stages, and Real Madrid v Manchester City, a repeat of last season's semi-final between the 14x record holders and the reigning champions.

Kane's England return

Former Tottenham Hotspur star will return to England with Bayern Munich in the UCL quarter-final first leg, as they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. The Englishman scored plenty of goals as a Spurs player against their North London rivals, and will look to haunt the Gunners once more.

Another Real v City showdown

Real Madrid and Manchester City have met in the UCL in four of the last five seasons, including in the semi-final last year. City came out on top 5-1 on aggregate, and went on to win the final. However, given Real's pedigree in the competition, this could be a very tight yet exciting affair.

Erling Haaland (6/4)

Coincided with Manchester City being favourites to win consecutive UCL crowns, Erling Haaland is still favourite to finish as top scorer. He has six goals in the tournament so far, joint with the three other players on this list.

City have a tough tie against Real Madrid in the quarter-final, followed by Premier League rivals Arsenal or Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the semi-final. If they can come through those unscathed, Haaland will have a great chance of winning the Golden Boot.

Harry Kane (3/1)

Harry Kane is joint-second favourite to win the UCL Golden Boot according to betting markets, with six goals in the tournament so far. As a former Spurs player, he will want to do damage against Arsenal in the quarter-final, and he has scored plenty of goals against them in the past.

Should Bayern Munich progress, Real Madrid or Manchester City await in the semi-final, which would be a tough task to get through, but Kane's goals have often helped them out of tough situations this season, and the Englishman is quite frankly a goal-machine.

Kylian Mbappe (3/1)

Kylian Mbappe is joint-second favourite with Harry Kane to win the UCL Golden Boot, according to betting markets. PSG have a fairly favourable run to the final, as they face Barcelona in the quarters before either Atletico Madrid or Borussia Dortmund in the semis.

Like Haaland and Kane, Mbappe has six goals in the competition so far, and almost single-handedly got PSG through against Real Sociedad in the round of 16 with his eye for goal. This could be his last chance to win the UCL with the Parisians, as he is rumoured to be joining Real Madrid in the summer.

Antoine Griezmann (8/1)

Antoine Griezmann is the new name on the list since our last update, replacing his Atletico Madrid teammate Alvaro Morata. Griezmann has six UCL goals so far, and has the chance to add to his tally against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-final.

Should Atletico come through that, a semi-final against PSG or Barcelona awaits, as they avoid the bookies favourites until the final. This is only a good thing for Griezmann in terms of his chances of winning the UCL Golden Boot.
