The Champions League top scorer 2023/24 odds have changed after UCL matchday four, with the likes of Erling Haaland and Harry Kane grabbing braces, while others like Kylian Mbappe and Robert Lewandowski drew blanks.
These odds will be affected after every matchday, as we look at the big talking points from matchday four, and who is in the running to finish as UCL top scorer…

Champions League top scorer 2023/24 odds – Latest news
Terrific Tuesday for free-scoring Atletico and City
On Tuesday, we saw Atletico Madrid thrash 10-man Celtic 6-0 at home, which saw braces from both Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann. The former is the joint-highest scorer in the competition at the moment with five goals, and would be expected to add to that tally should Atletico make the knockouts.
Elsewhere, holders Manchester City booked their place in the last 16 thanks to a Haaland double, while both Mbappe and Lewandowski drew blanks in Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona's defeats respectively.
Woeful Wednesday for United as Kane continues to score
On Wednesday, FC Copenhagen shocked Manchester United by beating them 4-3, although Rasmus Hojlund scored a brace for the visitors, and is joint-top scorer in the competition alongside Morata (five). The result means the Red Devils are now only second-favourites to qualify from the group, behind Galatasaray.
Kane also netted two goals in Bayern Munich's 2-1 win at home to Galatasaray, which ensured qualification for the knockout stages for the Bundesliga side.

Champions League top scorer 2023/24 odds – Current outrights
Erling Haaland (6/5)
Not too many surprises here, as Haaland is the favourite to finish as the UCL's top scorer. The Norwegian's brace on matchday four lifted him up to four goals in the competition so far, only behind Hojlund and Morata.
His 12 goals in last season's competition went a long way to City winning their maiden UCL, and already through to the knockouts this term, Haaland could certainly fill his boots.

Harry Kane (9/4)
Kane's double on Wednesday means he is level with Haaland on four goals in the competition. Like City, Bayern are now through to the knockout stages, with the added bonus of knowing that they have qualified in first place in their group.
The Englishman has been a goal-scoring machine since joining from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, netting 19 times in all competitions, and it is no surprise to see him as second-favourite to become UCL top scorer.

Kylian Mbappe (9/1)
As good of a player Mbappe is, he is an outsider to finish as top scorer, albeit third-favourite behind Haaland and Kane. The Frenchman could not find the net as PSG lost 2-1 in Milan on matchday four, and only has two goals in the competition to his name so far.
The Parisians are in the ‘Group of Death' with AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle United, and so it is not a guarantee that they will qualify for the knockouts, so Mbappe may not be able to add many more goals to his tally.

Alvaro Morata (10/1)
Perhaps the biggest surprise on the list, Morata is currently fourth-favourite to finish as top scorer. The Spaniard has not been the most prolific in his career, with his highest-scoring league season being 15 with Real Madrid in 2016/17.
However, Morata already has seven for Real's Madrid rivals Atletico in La Liga this campaign, and now five in the UCL after his brace against Celtic. That makes him the joint-top scorer in the competition so far, and certainly one to watch.
