Freiburg vs Bayern Munich – games in focus

Kicking things off with the first game of this gameweek and the out-of-form Bayern Munich.

Despite the signing of Harry Kane expected to get the champions of Germany even further ahead of the likes of Borussia Dortmund after winning the title on only goals difference, Leverkusen have come from out of nowhere.

Bayern are expected to win this game, despite the recent form. However, given the run throughout February, Freiburg should score at least once, as Bayern defeated RB Leipzig 2-1 last time out after losing three in a row against Bochum, Lazio and Leverkusen. It now means no clean sheet for Kane and co. in the past six games and month’s action, but he still has 27 Bundesliga goals in 23 games.

5/6 (1.83) are the odds for both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals in this game.

Union Berlin vs Borussia Dortmund

It's been another rough ride for Borussia Dortmund in February with them only managing to defeat Freiburg, lose to Hoffenheim and draw with PSV Eindhoven, Wolfsburg and Heidenheim. This has seen the club only stay in fourth because of RB Leipzig's poor run of form this past month.

BVB have also let in 30 goals in the Bundesliga now, but against a struggling Union Berlin, Edin Terzic's men should get back to winning ways. Union are sitting 14th in the league right now with 12 losses on the board and 37 goals let in.

The men from the capital are, however, unbeaten in the past four games with wins over Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim and a draw with Heidenheim and Mainz. Ultimately, expect more goals in this game with Dortmund eager to stay in fourth and get back to winning ways.

Hoffenheim vs Werder Bremen

Two teams still clinging onto a slight bit of hope of a spot back in a European competition next season battle here, as seventh-placed Hoffenheim take on eight-placed Werder Bremen with both sides on 30 points.

Form has been very different for these two teams in the past six games, as Bremen have managed to win four of those ties and rocket from near relegation up to within four points of the Europa Conference League spot. With this in mind, they’ll surely get another goal at the PreZero Arena and put pressure on a Hoffenheim side who have one win in the past six and have now let in 43 goals – no side in the top half of the table have conceded more.

These two also met back in October in a match that saw both teams score and over 2.5 goals, as Hoffenheim ran out 3-2 winners. They also played out a 2-1 game in favour of Hoffenheim late last season too.

The BTTS & Over 2.5 Goals betting market for this game sits at 4/5 (1.8).
