Bundesliga predictions

The German top flight is one of the best leagues in the world and that’s been the case since Bundesliga’s inception in 1963, which is much later compared to other major European leagues.

Bundesliga consists of 18 teams playing in a round-robin format, so it’s the only Big Five league next to Ligue 1 that doesn’t have 20 teams.

Here we have every twist and turn covered with our Bundesliga betting tips, but if you want to see daily predictions and tips for all the best leagues, check out our football betting tips today.

Most likely winners – Bavarians to dominate again

After a one-season break in which Bayer Leverkusen lifted the Bundesliga trophy, Bayern Munich promptly proved once again just how dominant they are in German football and won the Bundesliga last season, quite comfortably.

So, even before the 2025-26 season started, Bayern Munich were favoured to win it. After winning 19 of their 23 games this season, the bookies pretty much see no alternative to Bayern lifting the trophy again. Small chances are given to the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim, and Stuttgart.

Relegation candidates – Plenty of candidates for the drop

While things are pretty clear at the very top, the bottom of the league will likely be more exciting to follow this season, with more than a few clubs in danger of going down.

At the moment, the top three candidates are Heidenheim, St Pauli, and Werder Bremen, with Mainz and Wolfsburg also being among the candidates for the drop based on the odds.

Top scorer favourites – Kane again tops the list of best Bundesliga scorers

After scoring a whopping 36 goals in his first season with Bayern Munich, Harry Kane scored a more modest 26 goals last season. However, that was still enough to get him the second Golden Boot award in a row and, barring any injuries, he will complete a hat-trick this season.

The English forward has more than double the number of goals as next players on the list, Deniz Undav of Stuttgart and his teammate Luis Diaz, so it’s hard to imagine a scenario in which Kane doesn’t win the award.
