What Is the Bet Builder Feature?

Bet Builder is a feature that allows bettors to place multiple bets on the same game. In a nutshell, it is a feature that helps you create an accumulator bet where all selections are from one match or event. However, keep in mind that you can also create a Bet Builder bet with as few as two selections.

Another thing that's important to know is that the Bet Builder odds you get will likely be lower than the odds you would get if you just multiplied your selections, as you would do with a regular accumulator bet. However, that is the price you have to pay if you want to bet on multiple betting markets from a single game – you wouldn't be able to do this otherwise, without using the Bet Builder feature.

The most popular use of Bet Builder is for football games, but you can use this feature to bet on other sports as well, like basketball, ice hockey, tennis, cricket, and many others. That being said, some bookies limit Bet Builder offers to football or just the most popular events from other sports.

On top of that, it's important to keep in mind that not all bookies have this feature or if they do, it might be called something other than Bet Builder, like Same Game Multi or Request a Bet.

In fact, Bet Builder has previously known as the Request a Bet feature, where you would have to send your selections to your bookie via social media (usually on Twitter with a specific hashtag) or email and then wait for them to respond with the odds. With the Bet Builder feature, that process is automated and you get your odds instantly, although some bookies still use the Request a Bet feature instead.

How to Use the Bet Builder Feature

Using the Bet Builder Feature is rather simple. The first step is to find a bookmaker that offers the Bet Builder feature. Once you do this, just follow these steps:

1. Choose the match you want to bet on
2. Click on the Bet Builder tab for the game you selected
3. Start building the bet by adding your selections (click on the desired betting market to add the selection)
4. With each selection you add, you will instantly see the odds for your Bet Builder wager
5. Once you add all selections that you want, place/confirm your bet

Keep in mind that Bet Builder only works with pre-game betting markets, so you won't be able to place a Bet Builder wager on live games. Also, the Bet Builder feature will automatically eliminate conflicting or contradictory combinations, so you won't be able to make a mistake like that when you place your bet.

Bet Builder on Mobile Apps

Given the rise of popularity when it comes to mobile sports betting, most bookies today also have mobile apps that you can download, install, and use to place your bets. Also, most of the bookmakers that offer the Bet Builder feature provide it on both their desktop site and mobile app, although in some cases, the Bet Builder feature can be found exclusively on one of the platforms. As we already mentioned, Bet Builder odds aren't the same as odds on regular accumulator bets since they aren't calculated the same way by simply multiplying the odds. In fact, each bookmaker has its own way to calculate the odds for their Bet Builder feature, so Bet Builder odds for same selections can vary from one bookie to another.

We tested this to check out which bookies offer the best Bet Builder odds and found that Betfair had the best odds, followed by Unibet, 888sport and bet365, while the other bookies were behind. However, this was tested on a few examples only and the result could be different from one game to another.
