Aberdeen vs Rangers lineups and latest team news

Aberdeen

Aberdeen boss, Barry Robson, will likely ring the changes after his side lost 6-0 against Celtic before the international break. Robson could welcome back Conor Barron and Jamie McGrath into his starting lineup after the pair missed the loss against Celtic.

One player whom Aberdeen will need to be on top form if they are to get anything out of the game is Bojan Miovski. The Macedonian international scored 16 goals in the Scottish Premiership last season and has already found the back of the net four times this campaign.

Predicted lineup

Roos – Devlin, Gartenmann, Rubezic, Jensen, McKenzie – Shinnie, Polvara, – Hayes, Clarkson, Duk

Rangers

Rangers boss, Phillipe Clement has found a settled starting eleven since coming into the role and he is expected to continue with that on Sunday. Experienced midfielder, Steven Davis, is still in rehab after a serious knee injury but he is expected to return by the end of the year.

Two important players for Rangers on Sunday will be Todd Cantwell and Danilo. Cantwell is the main creative spark in the Rangers squad while Danilo will be looking to add to the four league goals he has already scored this season.

Predicted lineup

Butland – Tavernier, Goldson, Davies, Yilmaz – Lundstram, Cantwell – Wright, Lammers, Sima – Danilo

Player to watch: James Tavernier

James Tavernier has been a mainstay in the Rangers squad for several seasons now and the club's skipper remains their most important player. From full-back, his goals and assists numbers are far beyond normal and he will be their main attacking outlet again on Sunday.
