Zambia vs Morocco team news

Zambia

Zambia fell behind early on in their last group game against Tanzania and must have feared for the worst when just before halftime, Roderick Kabwe was given his marching orders following a second yellow card. However, Zambia kept themselves in the game and always looked dangerous going forward, eventually equalising through their star player Patson Daka and holding out for a share of the spoils.

Roderick Kabwe will now miss the final game of the group stage due to that sending-off against Tanzania.

Predicted Lineup: Mulenga (GK), Sunzu, Chepeshi, F. Musonda, L. Musonda, B. Banda, L.Banda, Kangwa, Kapumbu, Daka & Sakala

Morocco

Morocco took the lead after just six minutes against Congo DR thanks to an effort from full-back Achraf Hakimi. However, despite dominating large parts of the game, Morocco never did find that second goal and it came back to haunt them as Congo DR equalised in the seventy-sixth minute and managed to hold out for a 1-1 draw.

Morocco still top Group F with four points and only need a draw from their final group game to ensure their safe passage into the knockout stage.

Predicted Lineup: Bounou (GK), Chibi, Saïss, Aguerd, Hakimi, Ziyech, Amrabat, Amallah, Ounahi, Boufal & En-Nesyri

Player to Watch: Youssef En-Nesyri

Morocco's Youssef En-Nesyri already has one goal at AFCOn 2023 and we're backing the Sevilla striker to add to his tally in the final group game against Zambia.

The 26-year-old has netted twenty times in sixty-eight appearances for his country and will be hoping to top score at AFCON 2023. However, En-Nesyri has never been a consistent goalscorer at club or international level, always capable of netting twenty-plus goals in a season but only achieving that once so far in his career.

En-Nesyri certainly has the quality to help guide Morocco all the way in the Ivory Coast and we're backing the forward to put in another impressive performance on Wednesday night.
