Wolverhampton Wanderers will take on Blackburn Rovers on Thursday, 14 August, as the new Championship season gets underway at Molineux.
After being relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season, Wolves will be desperate to start the new season strongly as they look for an immediate return to the top flight.

For many supporters, last season was a long time coming at Wolves following years of failing to adequately replace a long list of star players that had moved on from Molineux.
Following relegation, the club have not exactly gone mad in the transfer market, though, bringing in just four new players, two of whom, Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez, have been acquired for free. In terms of departures, Wolves have let go of three players, most notably Joao Gomes, who has joined Aston Villa for £38m.
It's not been the sort of summer many were expecting, and new manager Cesar Peixoto would like a few more through the door before the end of the month. For now, though, he will have to begin the new season with a bulk of the players who were relegated last season.
Results in pre-season have been positive, and a 3-0 win over Port Vale in the Carabao Cup last week has set them up perfectly for Friday night.
Peixoto remains without the injured Rafiki Said, but other than that, he has a full squad to select from.
As for Blackburn, they have turned to former manager Tony Mowbray to try and help them move up the Championship table this season.
The 62-year-old came in towards the back end of last season but can only really be judged on what he produces from here, with the target at Ewood Park this season to avoid another relegation battle.
It has been a mixed summer for the club, but they came through their Carabao Cup first-round match last week with a comeback victory over Burton Albion. They have also added Sam Morsy to the squad this week, in a boost to their midfield.
Mowbray could throw Morsy straight into the starting XI on Friday, while Sidnei Tavares will also be ready to start after being ill last week.
