🔥 Our Hot tip

Draw

West ham have only won one of their last six matches across all competitions.

Graham Potter takes charge of his first Premier League match as West Ham manager but with a selection of key players out injured, can the new Hammers' boss get off to a winning start at home against Fulham?

West Ham vs Fulham prediction: Possible stalemate on the cards?

Key Stats

  • Four of Fulham's last six matches have ended in draws.
  • These two sides played out a 1-1 draw in September's reverse league meeting.
  • Both teams have scored in four of West Ham's last six outings.
  • Five of Fulham's last six matches have ended with both teams scoring.

Correct score prediction: West Ham 1-1 Fulham

We're backing Tuesday's clash to end in a 1-1 draw rather than a West Ham win due to the fact that Graham Potter has a selection of key players out injured including top scorer Jarrod Bowen. Add to that the fact that Fulham have drawn four of their last five league games and you can see just why we've backed this game to end 1-1.

Pre-game odds and win probability: Fulham the bookmaker's choice

  • HOME: 2/1 (3.00) – 33.3%
  • DRAW: 13/5 (3.60) – 27.8%
  • AWAY: 29/20 (2.45) – 40.8%

*odds from Ladbrokes, subject to change

Fulham are the expected winner of this game with a probability of 40.8% but we can see West Ham claiming a share of the spoils.

West Ham preview: No magic for Potter at Villa Park

Graham Potter's start to life at West Ham began with a defeat at Villa Park in the FA Cup.

Lucas Paqueta fired the Hammers in front after just nine minutes but soon after West Ham lost striker Niclas Fulkrug to injury. Aston Villa scored twice in the second half to win the game 2-1 much to the disappointment of Potter and his staff.

Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, Jean-Clair Todibo, Emerson Palmieri and Niclas Fullkrug are not available for selection against Fulham due to injury.

Predicted lineup: Fabianski (GK), Mavropanos, Wan-Bissaka, Kilman, Scarles, Soucek, Paqueta, Alvarez, Kudus, Ings & Summerville

Fulham preview: Unbeaten in nine matches

Fulham continued their unbeaten run at the weekend with a 4-1 win over Watford in the FA Cup which arrived on the back of a draw with Ipswich Town in the Premier League.

The Cottagers twice had to come from behind at home to the Tractor Boys with penalties from Raul Jimenez in order to rescue a 2-2 draw, making in six stalemates in their last nine matches across all competitions.

Marco Silva looks set to be without the services of Kenny Tete, Reiss Nelson and Sander Berge for the trip to West Ham this week.

Predicted lineup: Leno (GK), Andersen, Castagne, Diop, Robinson, Bassey, Cairney, Lukic, Wilson, Jimenez & Iwobi

Player to watch: Danny Ings

Danny Ings looks set for a rare start for West Ham this week due to the current injury crises the Hammers are dealing with up front.

The 32-year-old has only scored once in his 10 Premier League appearances this season but nine of those have come from the substitutes' bench.

Ings to lead the line in Potter's home debut?

We're interested to see how Ings performs in this new look Graham Potter side but we doubt he will make it through the entire 90 minutes.
