Galatasaray appear to be more keen on securing Wahi's services in an initial loan deal. Earlier, a report suggested Marseille would be keen on agreeing a permanent sale, believed to be in the region of £16.8 million plus £4.2 million in add-ons. That is a reasonable fee for a forward with plenty of potential.
If West Ham could show more intent and propose a straight transfer, they may overtake Galatasaray in the race.

Graham Potter likes to give his forwards freedom to move in order to create more openings. If he uses the same approach in London, the Marseille forward could be an ideal target, as he is very mobile and likes to move either left or right side during attacks.
