Vitoria Guimaraes

An early goal from Tomás Ribeiro put Vitoria Guimaraes on their way to a victory against Farense. However, the hosts did equalise shortly before the hour mark and Guimaraes needed a late goal from Jota Silva to earn their victory.

Mikel Villanueva has a foot injury that could keep him from featuring this weekend.

Predicted Lineup: Varela (GK), Fernandes, Mangas, Borevković, Ribeiro, Maga, Mendes, D. Silva, Händel, J. Silva & A. Silva

Iván Fresneda and Daniel Bragança look set to miss the trip to Guimaraes this weekend through injury.

Player to Watch: Viktor Gyokeres

Sporting's Swedish striker has taken to Portuguese football like a duck to water, netting nine goals in the Primeira Liga alone and assisting more goals than any of his teammates.

Gyokeres has scored nine times in e11 starts for the Portuguese giants this season, chipping in with four assists as well. Some questioned whether the former Coventry City striker could make the step up to Portugal's top flight and so far, he has proved them all wrong.

With seven goals in his last eight appearances for club and country, Gyokeres is in very good form right now and could be the match-winner again this weekend.
