Villarreal's 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo last weekend was their fifth consecutive home win. The Yellow Submarine have been one of La Liga's best home teams this season, winning 13 of their 16 league matches at this stadium.
With only five games remaining, Marcelino's troops are five points above fourth-placed Atletico Madrid and nine points behind second-placed Real Madrid. Their objective for the rest of the season will be to lock down a top-three spot.
As has been the case in recent months, Pau Cabanes remains out of action for the hosts due to a cruciate ligament tear.
Villarreal may also be without Santiago Mourino and Tajon Buchanan as both players have fitness issues to deal with ahead of this clash.
On the other hand, Levante's fortunes have improved a lot in recent weeks, as they have earned 10 points from a possible 15 in their last five matches. The visitors have been a tough team to beat, having lost only once in their last eight outings (W4, D3).
However, while Luis Castro's side have won three consecutive home games, they are without a win in their last six away matches, failing to score in four of them.
Long-term absentee Unai Elgezabal and fellow defender Adrian de la Fuente are both ruled out of this trip because of muscular injuries.
Additionally, Kareem Tunde has joined Unai Vencedor on the sidelines after sustaining a left adductor muscle injury in the clash against Sevilla on 23 April.

Whispers Predicts: Levante 3-1 Villarreal
At 1.75, Villarreal are considered favourites by the bookmakers. Given Levante's struggles on the road, we believe the hosts will claim all the spoils here.
Interestingly, not only are Villarreal on a five-match winning streak at home, but they also conceded in each victory.
On that note, Villarreal & BTTS - Yes can be backed at 3.00.
Also, keeping in mind that Levante drew first blood in six of their last eight games, Levante to score first at 2.45 should be worth a punt.
