Correct score prediction: Valencia 2-1 Mallorca

Mallorca have been one of La Liga's worst travellers this season with a 1-1-6 win-draw-loss record in eight away games. They are up against a Valencia side that lost only once in their last seven matches across all competitions.

Keeping in mind that Mallorca lost their last trip to this stadium, we are leaning toward Valencia for the win.

  • HOME: 1/1 (2.00) – 50%
  • DRAW: 23/10 (3.30) – 30.3%

Mallorca were eliminated from the Copa del Rey by La Liga 2 side Deportivo La Coruna earlier this week, ending their four-game unbeaten run. Jagoba Arrasate's troops are 14th in the Spanish top flight with a 4-5-7 win-draw-loss record.

On the other hand, 17th-placed Valencia are coming off a 2-0 victory over Sporting Gijon, another La Liga 2 side, in the Copa del Rey. They have had a 3-3-1 win-draw-loss record in their last seven games across all competitions.

Ahead of this skirmish, Valencia are the expected winners at 1/1 (2.00). Teams with these odds generally have a 50% probability of winning.

It is also worth mentioning that these teams have averaged about 8.3 corners per game between them this season. Bearing that in mind, under 9.5 total corners has an appealing look at 17/20 (1.85). That one has a 54.1% chance of landing.

Most recent H2Hs: Mallorca have bragging rights

Mallorca have been the dominant side in recent clashes between these sides, as they lost only once in their last six H2Hs (W3, D2). However, Valencia were victorious in the last encounter between these outfits.
