Brest vs Toulouse lineups and latest team news

Brest

Brest offered yet another very solid display last weekend when they paid a visit to Nice and ended up earning a deserved 0-0 draw. The Pirates continue to defend very well even when asked to withstand long periods of pressure and this was exactly what brought them to the point last weekend.

Brest are now undefeated in the last 4 rounds (W2 D2) and with a single loss so far they are not in first place only on goal difference.

Considering the excellent form and the good health of the squad there is no reason for the manager to be making lots of changes. The only player set to miss this game due to an injury is inner midfielder Pereira-Lage.

Predicted Lineup – Bizot (GK), Lala, Chardonnet, Brassier, Locko, Lees-Melou, Magnetti, Del Castillo, Camara, Le Douaron & Satriano

Toulouse

Toulouse achieved their first win in Europe on Thursday when able to edge Austrians LASK Linz 1-0 at home. The Violets enjoyed the moment but they entered uncharted waters right now as they are not used to playing both in Europe and domestically. The squad is small and after their first game in Europe in September Toulouse lost 1-2 on their visit to Lens with fatigue a factor.

Toulouse are also badly crippled for this game. Their star winger Aboukhlal, who enjoyed very strong start to the season, is now out until Christmas. Zanden, Skytta and Cissoko are also absent with at least 2 of them likely to be starting often if fit.

In better news, Costa is back after serving a European ban in midweek and he should start again.

Predicted Lineup – Restes (GK), Desler, Costa, Nicolaisen, Suazo, Spierings, Casseres, Donnum, Schmidt, Gelabert & Dallinga
