After back-to-back 17th-placed finishes, Tottenham would have hoped to have started the season stronger.

Roberto De Zerbi's team have picked up one point without as much as scoring a goal in the league, with more questions than answers over his attacking signings so far.

One of those in Mykhaylo Mudryk has recently picked up an injury which will rule him out until after the international break, while Richarlison has been strongly linked with a move away.

There are also questions over Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison's fitness, with Spurs desperately lacking a creative spark.

After losing star player Iliman Ndiaye and being left with one senior striker in the squad in Thierno Barry after the transfer window, Everton may have similar concerns.

However, they have scored in every game so far this season and remain unbeaten in all competitions.

David Moyes has done well to ease those transfer concerns, and the Toffees will believe they have a squad capable of competing until at least January.

James Garner is an injury doubt though, while new signing Christian Norgaard continues to be sidelined.

Whispers predicts: Tottenham 1-1 Everton

Tottenham are 11/10 (2.10) favourites with bookies, but given their poor form this season and Everton's unbeaten start, we are backing the visitors to get a result.

Double chance – Draw/Everton at 16/19 (1.84) immediately stands out, while Under 2.5 goals at 10/11 (1.91) also offers value with Tottenham failing to score in the league so far.

Everton have had to rely on Barry up front, and with four goals in all competitions this term, Barry to score anytime at 11/4 (3.75) is more of an outside pick.

Overall, we are predicting a 1-1 draw, which is available at 13/2 (7.50).
