Tottenham are preparing to submit a bid to sign Isaksen from Serie A side Lazio in the summer transfer window.
According to Italian outlet TVPlay, Lazio may have to sell one of their star players to help fund their pursuit of Liverpool winger Federico Chiesa.

Spurs are reportedly willing to offer €40m (£33m) for a player who is under contract until the summer of 2028. While Tottenham's proposed offer reflects Isaksen's long contract, his current market value is said to be €15m (£12m).

Isaksen can cause problems for opposition defences with his willingness to move purposely with the ball at his feet. The 23-year-old is fifth in Serie A for carries into the penalty area, having only been bettered by Dan Ndoye, Francisco Conceicao, Ademola Lookman and Rafael Leao.
Upgrade? (3.5/5): Can he play in same team as Kulusevski?
The Denmark international is a left-foot attacker who likes to play off the right flank, making him a similar player to Tottenham's Dejan Kulusevski. With that said, Kulusevski has also been utilised in a number 10 position this season, which could open up space for Isaksen to feature on the right wing.

Isaksen is currently in his second season as a Lazio player. While he could be looking for a fresh challenge, his numbers suggest that it may be too soon to make the jump to the Premier League, having scored five goals and provided five assists in 39 appearances this season. It is a respectable tally, but he may want to improve his goal contributions before looks to take the next steps.
