Authenticity (2.5/5): Tottenham eyeing Bisseck move

Tottenham are reportedly among four Premier League clubs that are interested in signing Inter's Bisseck this summer.

That is according to TEAMtalk, who claim that Tottenham are joined by Bournemouth, Everton and West Ham United in the race to sign Bisseck.

Value (3/5): Inter outline asking price

Inter are open to selling Bisseck this summer, but any potential deal will have to wait until the club completes its obligations at the Club World Cup.

There is a belief that Inter will demand somewhere between €35m (£30m) and €40m (£34m) for a player who is under contract until the summer of 2029.

Suitability (3.5/5): Defender on the rise

The centre-back has had to settle for 19 starts in 38 competitive appearances this season. He may not be a guaranteed starter, but he has still proven to be a valuable member of Simone Inzaghi's squad.

The 24-year-old's performances evidently caught the attention of Germany boss Julian Naglesmann after he was given the chance to make his international debut last month.

Upgrade? (3.5/5): Potential Romero successor

Tottenham are at risk of losing Cristian Romero this summer, with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid believed to be among his admirers. Given Bisseck's experience of playing for a top European club, he would surely be a suitable replacement if the Argentine were to leave this summer.

Spurs are also wary that Micky van de Ven is attracting transfer interest, while Ben Davies could depart when his contract expires this summer.

Logic (3/5): Concerns over lack of European football

While Bisseck may not be a regular starter at Inter, he may be reluctant to leave a club that are playing Champions League football for a team that may not even secure European qualification for next season.

Having struggled in the Premier League, Spurs will have to win the Europa League if they are to qualify for the 2025-26 Champions League.

Whisper+ verdict: 15.5/25

Bisseck would be a shrewd signing to replace Romero, but we have doubts about whether the player will be open to joining Tottenham following their struggles this season, especially if they fail to secure European qualification.
