Torino vs Lazio – Football Whispers' Best Bets
Both of these teams started the new Serie A campaign with a win and we're expecting a close encounter between the pair on Saturday. Torino beat newly-promoted Monza last time out, but only just, while Lazio got the better of Bologna.
Lazio to Win
Lazio haven't lost any of their last six matches against Torino, picking up three wins and three draws. Lazio's last two wins against Torino have arrived at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino and we're backing the visitors to secure another 3pts this weekend. Lazio have a much-better squad on paper led by their star striker Immobile, while Torino lost their talismanic forward Belotti this summer on a free transfer.
Ciro Immobile to Score
Speaking of Immobile, the Italian international is already off and running for the season after scoring one of Lazio's goals against Bologna last time out. The 32-year-old netted 27 league goals in the last campaign and we're fully expecting Immobile to challenge for the top goalscorer award once again this season, so you can see why we've back the Lazio man to score against Torino.

A close and competitive 90-minutes expected in Turin
Torino didn't have things all their own way against Monza last weekend but did go in 1-0 up at the break thanks to a 43rd-minute effort from Miranchuk. The game continued to be close through the second half but Torino did manage to establish a 2-goal lead when Sanabria scored in the 66th-minute. Mota did manage to pull a goal back for the hosts in stoppage-time but there wasn't enough time remaining for Monza to carve out another goalscoring opportunity.
Torino Predicted Lineup – Milinković-Savić, Rodríguez, Djidji, Aina, Singo, Linetty, Radonjić, Ricci, Adopo, Sanabria & Miranchuk
Lazio were made to work hard for their victory at home to Bologna last time out as a penalty from Arnautovic in the 38th-minute handed the visitors a 1-0 halftime lead. Lazio came out for the second forty-five with much more purpose and got back onto level terms in the 68th-minute through an own goal by De Silvestri. That goal only seemed to spur on the home side and in the 79th-minute, Immobile latched on to a pass from Milinkovic-Savic to score what turned out to be the winning goal for the hosts.
Lazio Predicted Lineup – Provedel, Patric, Romagnoli, Marušić, Lazzari, Zaccagni, Cataldi, Milinković-Savić, Bašić, Immobile & Anderson
Team news
Torino: Alexey Miranchuk, Mergim Vojvoda and David Zima all look set to miss the game due to injury.
