Manchester United make a move for Ekitike
Manchester United's search for a new striker isn't going as planned and the Red Devils have switched targets several times in the space of a few weeks. After Liam Delap and Victor Osimhen, United have now set their sights on a French number nine.
According to Sky Sport Germany, the Mancunians have now “officially entered” the race for Eintracht Frankfurt star Hugo Ekitike, having made contact with the Bundesliga outfit “within the last 48 hours.” However, this chase isn't going to be easy either as the 22-goal striker is valued at £85million. Liverpool consider signing Osimhen
Liverpool have also been strongly linked with Ekitike, but now the Reds are exploring the possibility of signing Osimhen, who has long been on United's radar. The Napoli striker remains available for sale after turning down a move to Al-Hilal.
As per Givemesport, Osimhen's name “cropped up in a high-ranking transfer meeting” at Anfield, as Arne Slot is keen to sign a new striker. The Merseyside outfit will have to trigger his £64million release clause at Naples and fight off competition from Galatasaray, who are keen to keep him in Istanbul beyond this summer. Barcola not for sale
Liverpool are also in the market for a new winger amid question marks over the futures of Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota. In recent days, the Merseyside outfit have been reported to have shown interest in Bradley Barcola.
However, Foot Mercato reveals Paris Saint-Germain will not allow the Frenchman to leave this summer. The 22-year-old has struggled to start regularly but he is still very highly rated in Paris. He is tied to the club until 2028. Whispers Rating: 3/5

Arsenal keen on Williams
Left-wingers are in demand this summer, and Athletic Bilbao and Spain star Nico Williams is understood to be “the dream signing” of Mikel Arteta.

Athletic, however, intend to keep hold of their academy product and might force Arsenal to pay £50million upfront for the Spaniard.
