Momentum is growing behind Morgan Gibbs-White's purported transfer to Manchester City, as the Cityzens prepare to step up their efforts to find Kevin De Bruyne's successor.

As per the very reputed Fabrizio Romano, City “plan to advance” on a deal for Nottingham Forest's superstar, as the Englishman is considered one of the priority targets. Forest are keen to keep hold of their playmaker, who has five goals and nine assists to his name in the Premier League this season. However, Romano insists personal terms are not going to be an obstacle for Pep Guardiola's side. Leeds to hand Premier League lifeline to Vardy?

Another club from England's north is in search of a new goalscorer and could make a move for Jamie Vardy.
