Arsenal find Gyokeres agreement

Sporting director Andrea Berta has been working on finding a new striker for Mikel Arteta since the start of the summer and multiple reports now suggest he has made a breakthrough in his pursuit.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal have reached an agreement in principle to sign Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP. The North London outfit will pay a guaranteed £55million fee plus £8.5million in add-ons. Bayern interested in Trossard

The arrival of Gyokeres should limit minutes for Leandro Trossard, who emerged as an effective impact player under Arteta last season. The 30-year-old is now attracting interest from Bayern Munich.
