It has been a difficult start to the new Championship campaign for Stoke City, who are one of just four sides yet to pick up any points following consecutive defeats against Swansea City and Southampton.
After a promising pre-season run, where they picked up two wins and two draws from five friendly games, the Potters let their lead slip away in a 2-1 opening-day defeat against Swansea City at the bet365 Stadium on August 15, before suffering a 3-1 away loss versus Southampton at the weekend.
