Spain are bidding to win their second World Cup and replicate the golden generation of 2008-2012 by holding both that and the European Championship trophy at the same time.
They were not the majority's favourites to beat France in the semi-final, but La Roja simply outclassed their opponents on the ball and kept a record sixth clean sheet at a World Cup.
Luis de la Fuente's side now face world champions Argentina in an attempt to take their crown off them, and should they do so, it would represent a sixth major final victory at the seventh attempt.
Spain have reported no injury concerns at the time of writing, meaning they are likely to stick with the same XI that stunned France.
Argentina also have no fitness worries themselves, although their journey to the final has been a lot rockier.
La Seleccion were taken to extra-time by Cape Verde and Switzerland in the knockouts, while they also had to come back from two goals down to beat Egypt in the round of 16.
Lionel Scaloni's side were also behind against England in the semi-final, but turned it around with two late goals, both supplied by their talisman Lionel Messi.
He now boasts eight goals and four assists at this World Cup, making him the leader in the Golden Boot race and the all-time top scorer at World Cup finals, and Argentina will look to Messi again for inspiration as they aim to become just the third nation to win back-to-back World Cups.

Whispers predicts: Spain 1-1 Argentina (Spain to win World Cup)
Spain are 11/8 (2.38) favourites to win in normal time, but Argentina's fighting spirit and unwillingness to give up their crown easily means we fancy a Draw at 21/10 (3.10) after 90 minutes.
While La Roja have only conceded once at the World Cup, Argentina are the top scorers with 19 goals, so BTTS – Yes at 19/20 (1.95) offers some value.
In terms of potential match-winners, Mikel Oyarzabal stepped up with his fifth goal of the tournament in the semi-final, and also came up the winner against England in the 2024 European Championship final.
Oyarzabal to score anytime at 15/8 (2.88) is therefore worth a punt in our eyes, while our prediction of a 1-1 draw in normal time can also be backed at 11/2 (6.50).
Spain are 7/10 favourites to win the World Cup, and we cannot see past La Roja lifting the trophy for the second time.
> BTTS – Yes at 19/20 (1.95) | Likelihood: Probable
> Oyarzabal to score anytime at 15/8 (2.88) | Likelihood: Possible
> Draw at 21/10 (3.10) | Likelihood: Possible
