Slovan Bratislava will look to complete the job when they welcome Mjallby to Tehelne Pole on Tuesday for the second leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie.
The Slovak champions hold a 2-1 advantage from last week's first leg in Sweden and are bidding to reach the playoff round for another chance to return to the Champions League league phase after featuring in the competition proper in 2024-25.
Slovan progressed from the previous qualifying round by beating Iberia 1999 away before drawing the return fixture, while Mjallby overcame Lincoln Red Imps to reach the third round of their maiden European campaign.

Slovan return to Tehelne Pole with a 2-1 advantage from last week's first leg, leaving the Slovak champions in a favourable position as they attempt to reach the Champions League playoff round for the second successive season.
The Sky Blues fell behind when Elliot Stroud converted from the penalty spot shortly after the hour mark in Sweden, but their response through Suleiman Camara and Manasse Kianga demonstrated their ability to recover from difficult situations during this qualifying campaign.
Slovan's route to the third qualifying round began with an away victory over Iberia 1999, before a draw in the return fixture in Bratislava secured their progression and set up the meeting with the Swedish champions.
The Bratislava club are also defending their Slovakian Football League crown for an eighth consecutive season, giving them considerable domestic experience to complement their recent exposure to Champions League football.

Karl Marius Aksum's side began their European journey by defeating Lincoln Red Imps 3-0 at Strandvallen, giving them a comfortable platform to progress after a goalless draw in Gibraltar completed their passage into the third qualifying round.
Their domestic campaign has provided considerably less encouragement, however, with Mjallby sitting 12th in the Allsvenskan following a difficult title defence after winning the Swedish championship for the first time last season.
The Hallevik outfit also have a challenging task away from home, where they have failed to win any of their last five matches, making the need to overturn a one-goal deficit in Bratislava even more demanding.
