Sint-Truiden vs Genk prediction – Betting tips & odds
Hot Tip – Draw
- The last three meetings between these two clubs have ended in stalemates.
- Sint-Truiden have drawn two of their last five league games.
Another reason that we have backed a draw as our main prediction is that Genk have only lost one of their last six competitive and non-competitive matches.

Sint-Truiden vs Genk team news
Sint-Truiden
Sint-Truiden gave a good account of themselves away at the league leaders Union Saint-Gilloise but still ended up losing the game. Kahveh Zahiroleslam fired Sint-Truiden in front after seventeen minutes but the teams went in level at the break following a stoppage-time equaliser. The visitors held firm for most of the second half and just when it looked like a great point was on the cards for Sint-Truiden, the home side scored the winning goal in the seventh minute of time added on.
Aboubakary Koita is away on international duty while Shinji Okazaki looks set to miss out this weekend through injury.
Predicted Lineup: Coppens (GK), Godeau, Janssens, Hashioka, Bocat, Smets, Yamamoto, Fujita, Steuckers, Delorge-Knieper & Zahiroleslam
Genk
Genk had the home advantage against Cercle Brugge last time out but fell behind in the eighth minute and trailed at the interval. Genk upped their game in the second forty-five and managed to equalise in the sixty-fourth minute through Andi Zeqiri but no further goals were scored and the game ended all square.
Joris Kayembe Ditu and Bilal El Khannous are away on international duty, while Ouattara Mohammed is a doubt due to injury.
Predicted Lineup: Vandevoordt (GK), Cuesta, McKenzie, Arteaga, Muñoz, Hrošovský, Galarza, Sor, Arokodare, Oyen & Bonsu Baah

Player to Watch: Jarne Steuckers
Sint-Truiden's young midfielder Jarne Steuckers has been their creative force this season.
The 21-year-old has created five goals and scored three in what is his breakthrough season with the Belgian club. There is no doubt that Steuckers will be attracting interest from bigger teams within this division and if he keeps performing as he has been, Sint-Truiden could end up selling the young midfielder in the summer.
We're backing Steuckers to put in another impressive performance this weekend in what is bound to be another tough and challenging ninety minutes for the mid-table club.
