Cardiff preview: A big win on the road
The Bluebirds made the trip to the North West before the international break to take on Blackburn Rovers.
Cardiff's Danish forward Yousef Salech opened the scoring after just four minutes but Blackburn equalised in the 16th minute and the pair went in level at the interval. Yakou Meite scored his second goal of the campaign in the second half to send Cardiff City back to South Wales with all three points in their back pocket, a big win on the road for the relegation-battlers.
Aaron Ramsey, Jak Alnwick and Ollie Tanner are all doubts for the Sheffield Wednesday game this weekend due to injury.

Sheff Wed preview: Lost the Steel City Derby
The Steel City Derby proved to be another tight and tense affair between Sheffield Wednesday and their guests Sheffield United.
A solitary second-half strike in favour of the Blades proved enough for the visitors to claim all three points as well as the bragging rights at Hillsborough.
Defenders Di'Shon Bernard and Akin Famewo are both rated as doubtful to feature this weekend against Cardiff City.

Player to watch: Josh Windass
Josh Windass needs one more league goal this season to equal his best-ever total in a single campaign for Sheffield Wednesday.

The attacking midfielder has 11 goals in the Championship this season and two seasons ago he fired in 12 in League One for the Owls. Windass has scored 16 times in a single league campaign before but that was back in 2015/16 when he was plying his trade in League Two with Accrington Stanley.
Windass top scores for the Owls this season
Windass was on target for the Owls in their last away game against Norwich, so don't be surprised if he finds the back of the net against a struggling Bluebirds side this weekend.
