Potential MVP – Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku was effectively given a career lifeline by Jose Mourinho when he brought the Belgian to the Eternal City in the summer. Lukaku's relationship with the Special One was a good one after the pair worked together at Manchester United and Mourinho helped to get him back up to something close to his best form before he was sacked by Roma.

Lukaku has continued to lead the line for Roma since Mourinho's departure and he is now up to 15 goals for the season in all competitions. He is also the leading scorer in the Europa League this season with six goals and he will be confident of adding to that tally at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.
