Roma vs Feyenoord H2H record

The Roma and Feyenoord rivalry is one that has heated up in recent years as the two teams getting drawn to face each other in European competition. They have only ever played each other on six previous occasions but four of those have come in the two seasons.

  • Roma Wins: 3
  • Draws: 2
  • Feyenoord Wins: 1

The two sides first met back in 2015 during the Europa League Round of 32. The first leg was played in Rome and Feyenoord would have been happy with how they fared, scoring a crucial away goal and walking away with a point. Unfortunately for them, Roma then turned them over back in the Netherlands to qualify for the next round. Their encounters since have followed a very similar theme.

Roma 1-0 Feyenoord – 25th May 2022

Potential MVP – Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku was effectively given a career lifeline by Jose Mourinho when he brought the Belgian to the Eternal City in the summer. Lukaku's relationship with the Special One was a good one after the pair worked together at Manchester United and Mourinho helped to get him back up to something close to his best form before he was sacked by Roma.

Lukaku has continued to lead the line for Roma since Mourinho's departure and he is now up to 15 goals for the season in all competitions. He is also the leading scorer in the Europa League this season with six goals and he will be confident of adding to that tally at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night.

Key trend

Looking at the Roma vs Feyenoord last five H2Hs, the key trend is that Roma very often get the job done against their Dutch rivals one way or the other. They lost the first leg to them last season in the Europa League quarter-finals before turning them over at the Stadio Olimpico while they overcame them in the Europa Conference League final despite being second best for much of the night.

Roma appear to have Feyenoord's number and we are backing them to win the match at 11/10. For more tips, check out in-depth Roma vs Feyenoord prediction.
