Daniele De Rossi led Roma to a sixth-place finish in Serie A last term, meaning they are gearing up for another crack at the Europa League.
Following on from the Jose Mourinho era, De Rossi will want to see players come in to fit his style of play and there could be several more comings and goings at the Stadio Olimpico.
Here are the rumoured Roma transfer targets for the last days of the summer 2024 window.

Hot rumours
Kevin Danso, Lens
One deal which looks to be nearing completion is the signing of Kevin Danso from Lens. The player is already in Rome and barring any last minute hitches, will complete a move to the Stadio Olimpico comfortably before Friday's deadline.
Danso is a powerful central defender, and the kind of player Roma have been trying to sign all summer. He started 30 times for Lens in Ligue 1 last term and also featured in all of the French club's Champions League games.
The 25-year-old averaged 0.8 tackles and 1.9 aerial challenges won per game in France last season and also clocked up 211 minutes at Euro 2024 for Austria.
Tiago Djalo, Juventus
While Danso looks like Roma's priority defensive addition, there has been speculation that they may also look to bring in one more defender.
Tiago Djalo is a reported target. He also made his name in Ligue 1 with Lille, before making a January move to Juventus. Just 16 Serie A minutes last term suggests he's well down the pecking order in Turin though and the former Portuguese U-21 international could be on the move again.
While De Rossi may not view Djalo as a starter, his ability to play in any position across the back would make the 24-year-old a very useful squad player.

Manu Kone, Borussia Monchengladbach
Another strong link to emerge as the summer transfer window heads towards its conclusion is that of Manu Kone, who, like Bade, represented France at the Olympics.
The 23-year-old is a holding midfielder who plays his club football in the Bundesliga at Borussia Monchengladbach. He has a reputation as being good in the tackle, but also as a capable ball carrier which are attributes that may appeal to De Rossi as his new side starts to take shape.
Having previously played in Ligue 1 for Toulouse, Kone was an instant hit in Germany, making 25 starts during the 2021/22 Bundesliga season, winning 2.3 tackles and registering 1.3 interceptions per game on average.
However, those figures were both lower last term and a move away now looks very likely, after he was excluded from Gladbach’s Friday night game against Bayer Leverkusen. An agreement with Roma is believed to have been reached.
