Contents
Draw
The last two matches of these teams ended in a draw, and most of their games are hard-fought battles with low-efficiency ratings on both sides of the field. Reims is especially noticed by its drawn games, they had three in their last four matches and six overall which is the highest mark in the league next to Strasbourg. Brest, on the other hand, has three draws to its name.
Under 2.5 Goals
Out of the last ten matches between these teams, only two ended with more than two goals. This season, Brest had seven ‘over' games, while Reims had six. Most Brest matches with more than two goals were defeats against higher-ranked opposition if we don't count the last week's game and a surprising win at Clermont by the scoreline of 3-1.

Brest needs to focus on defense
Brest's defensive woes are noticeable from the get-go. They have the second-worst defense in Ligue 1 with 26 conceded goals, only Angers is worse with 29 goals. Brest is also one of only three teams that still haven't won a home match. The other two are Strasbourg and Ajaccio. Further home woes for Brest are registered with their goal-scoring record. They scored only three goals while allowing 12 which is one of the worst ratings in the league. Strangely enough, their highest-paid summer signing was a defender Achraf Dari, but he was the only relevant defender that was signed, and he played in ten matches this season even scoring a goal, and making an assist. Unfortunately, he is currently injured and will miss the game against Reims.
Brest probable starting 11: Bizot, Fadiga, Brassier, Chardonnet, Duverne, Belkebla, Pereira Lage, Camara, Del Castillo, Slimani, Honorat.
Reims found a real gem in center-forward Folarin Balogun, a summer loan signing from Arsenal. A 21-year-old English U21 international is doing a great job this season scoring seven goals in twelve appearances with a couple of assists. Junya Ito has been their highest-paid signing from Genk, and the right-winger scored four goals this term. The two of them combined for eleven out of fourteen goals Reims scored which speaks a lot. Reims' defense improved in the last three games allowing only one goal, in their win against Auxerre. They had two important goalless draws versus the champions PSG, and third-placed Lorient.
Reims probable starting 11: Diouf, Locko, Abdelhamid, Keita, Flips, Lopy, Matusiwa, Zeneli, Doubmia, Ito, Balogun.
Team News:
Brest: Achraf Dari, Jere Uronen, and Steve Mounie are injured. Pierre Lees-Melous is suspended.
Reims: Marshall Munetsi, Maxime Busi, Rafik Guitane, and Thomas Foket are injured, while Emmanuel Agbadou is suspended.
