Real Oviedo vs Levante predictions: Battle of two struggling teams
Key stats
- Levante have won only once in seven La Liga games
- Real Oviedo lost twice in three home matches, but those were against Real Madrid and Barcelona.
- The visitors have scored in six of their seven league games
Correct score prediction: Real Oviedo 2-1 Levante
On paper, Oviedo lost two of their three home games, but those were challenging games against the top two teams in the league.
Los Azules are heading into this fixture on the back of a 2-1 win against Valencia, whereas Levante have failed to register a win in their previous two games.
Given their home advantage, we are leaning toward Oviedo for the win.

It is fair to point out that both Oviedo and Levante have been struggling, and as a result, they are 14th and 15th in the table, with just one point separating them.
Oviedo have picked up two wins so far, including a home victory. They have managed only four goals in their last five games, and this is one area where they need to improve.
Levante, on the other hand, have scored in their last four games, and their only win has come away from home, 4-0 against Girona.

Most recent H2Hs: Oviedo have a better record
In recent meetings between the two sides, Oviedo won 1-0 against their rival in the Spanish Segunda in April earlier this year.
In March 2024, they also defeated Levante 3-2. However, they have not faced each other before in La Liga, so this will be the first time in their history that they will do so.

Real Oviedo preview: Looking to pick up second home win
Veljko Paunovic's side have faced some quality teams already. They lost 2-0 to Villarreal in their opening game, followed by a 3-0 loss against Real Madrid.
They bounced back strongly with a 1-0 win against Real Sociedad, but three consecutive defeats in September must have hurt them.
Los Godos ended the month on a high with a 2-1 win against Los Che, where two goals in the last minutes from Luka Ilic and Salomon Rondon sealed all three points.
Predicted lineup: Escandell (GK), Vidal, Calvo, Carmo, Rahim, Dendoncker, Sibo, Hassan, Ilic, Brekalo & Rondon
Last five matches
- Valencia 1-2 Oviedo
- Oviedo 1-3 Barcelona
- Elche 1-0 Oviedo
- Getafe 2-0 Oviedo
- Oviedo 1-0 Sociedad
Levante preview: Aiming for second away win
Levante secured promotion to the Spanish top flight after topping the La Liga 2 last season, two points ahead of Elche.
Julian Calero's side has made a poor start to the 2025-26 season, losing their first three games and then drawing the fourth one. The 2-3 defeat against Barcelona was expected but the 2-0 loss to Elche must have hurt them.
They showed signs of resistance with a 2-2 draw against Real Betis and a 4-0 win against Girona. Los Azulgranas lost 4-1 at home against Real Madrid and drew 1-1 against Getafe ahead of this fixture.
Predicted lineup: Ryan (GK), Toljan, Elgezabal, Moreno, Sanchez, Alvarez, Vencedor, Rey, Brugue, Eyong & Romero
Last five matches
- Getafe 1-1 Levante
- Levante 1-4 Real Madrid
- Girona 0-4 Levante
- Levante 2-2 Real Betis
- Elche 2-0 Levante
Player to watch: Ivan Romero
The 24-year-old Spanish striker has been in terrific form this season and has already netted four goals.
He has scored against Barcelona, Girona, Real Betis and Getafe, and would be looking to add a few more to his goal tally.
