Real Betis halted their seven-game winless streak in La Liga with a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Girona last time out.

As it stands, Los Verdiblancos are eight points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid, and with six matches remaining, they can still secure a top-four spot, considering Atleti's losing streak.

Coach Manuel Pellegrini cannot call on the services of Diego Llorente and Junior Firpo, as both players are out due to muscular injuries. Angel Ortiz, with a shoulder problem, needs to be assessed to ascertain his availability for this clash.

Brazilian winger Antony, who was unavailable in the thrilling win over Girona due to suspension, will be available for selection against Real Madrid.

Moroccan star Abdessamad Ezzalzouli has been in fantastic form for the hosts, and he is set to continue down the left flank, with Antony probably getting the nod down the right side of the attack while Cucho Hernandez takes the reins in central attack.

On the other hand, Real Madrid snapped their four-game winless run across all competitions with a 2-1 victory against Deportivo Alaves a few days ago.

With only four points earned from a possible nine in their last three league matches, Los Blancos are now nine points behind arch-rivals Barcelona in the race for the La Liga title.

Interestingly, not only have Real Madrid lost their last two away games, but they have also failed to beat Real Betis in their last three meetings on the road.

Eder Militao sustained yet another muscular problem last time out against Alaves. The Brazilian has been in and out of the treatment room this season for Los Blancos, contributing to the team’s lack of resilience at the back.

First-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois remains out with a thigh injury, but the Belgian should be back before the end of the month. However, Rodrygo Goes is ruled out for the remainder of the season due to a serious knee injury.

Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior will likely start up front, while Militao’s injury should give Antonio Rudiger a shot in central defence alongside Dean Huijsen for this game.

Whispers Predicts: Real Betis 2-2 Real Madrid

At 1.93, Real Madrid are considered favourites by the bookies.

However, Los Blancos have suffered three defeats in their last five matches, and considering they have not beaten Betis in their last three H2Hs away from home, we believe the hosts will hold their own.

Also, both teams found the net in five of Real Betis' last six games and in each of Real Madrid's last eight matches.

On that note, Draw & BTTS - Yes can be backed at 4.60.
