Rangers to win (-1.5 handicap)

Rangers have beaten Aberdeen by two goals or more in each of their last three meetings.

Rangers will take on Aberdeen on Saturday, 21 March, in what is set to be another huge weekend in the Scottish Premiership title race.

Gers are back to within three points of league leaders, Hearts, and could end this weekend on top of the pile if they win here and other results go their way.

For Aberdeen, this match is an opportunity to pick up a point or three in their bid to avoid relegation to the Scottish Championship.

Following their devastating Scottish Cup exit at the hands of Celtic a fortnight ago, all of Rangers' eggs are now firmly in the Scottish Premiership basket.

The good news for Danny Rohl is that last weekend couldn't have gone much better for them, with Kilmarnock's victory over Hearts coinciding with their narrow victory over St Mirren.

If Gers are to end the season as champions, then they also need to get through Celtic, who currently sit between Rohl's side and Hearts. However, they will do well to put all of that to one side and concentrate on their own performances.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Rangers can move level on points with Hearts with a win.

Rangers have been at their best this season when they have taken the shackles off and attacked in numbers. They have scored 13 goals across their last five matches against Aberdeen, so Saturday represents a great opportunity to do exactly that.

Rohl will be without the services of Mohamed Diomande, Bailey Rice and Derek Cornelius once again on Saturday, so it's a case of as you were for the hosts.

Their opponents, Aberdeen, have been sliding towards a relegation battle for much of 2026, and the situation is concerning, to say the least.

🔍 Whispers Insight

Aberdeen have lost 23 of their last 38 matches with Rangers..

Stephen Robinson has been drafted in to ensure the Dons retain their Premiership status, but a 1-1 draw at home to Falkirk in his first home game in charge last weekend hasn't exactly set the world on fire.

The former St Mirren boss does have a good personal recent record against Rangers, though, which could come in handy this weekend. Four of his last five clashes with Gers as St Mirren boss ended in either victory or a draw.

Robinson is still getting to know his players, but he will be without Mats Knoester, Kristers Tobers, Nick Suman, Tom McIntyre and Nicky Devlin due to injuries and Lyall Camero due to the fact that Rangers are his parent club.

Both teams to score has been priced at 10/11, something that has happened in two of Aberdeen's last three Premiership matches.

Youssef Chermiti has scored five goals in his last four league outings, and he is priced at 10/11 to score anytime with Bet365.
